What we process
We process your account name, email, authentication/session details, uploaded photos, generated opening images and videos, safety-review status and minimal review metadata, task status, credit ledger and payment references. If you join our notification list, we store your email, site and signup time to notify you when checkout opens. We process support messages you send us. Card details are handled by Creem; we do not store them.
Purposes and grounds
We process account, media, task and credit data to perform the service you request; payment and accounting records to meet legal obligations; and limited safety, security and support records to prevent abuse and resolve requests. You must have permission from the adults shown in your photos. Optional analytics and source attribution rely on your consent, which you can withdraw through Cookie settings. Mandatory rights under the laws applicable to you remain unaffected.
Processors and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting, private R2 media storage and D1 application records. Replicate and its generation model providers process your photos to generate opening images and videos. OpenRouter and its routed model providers process photos for automated safety screening; our configured screening models are from the Qwen family. Creem is our merchant of record and handles payment, tax and transaction data. Before generation, we also send the complete resolved story prompts and an internal user/task reference to Creem for prompt safety screening. We retain the decision, screening reference, time and prompt fingerprint with the task for audit. Google Analytics processes visit and device/browser information only after you accept optional cookies; we do not send your photos, videos or support messages to analytics. These providers may process data internationally, outside China or your country. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply to their processing. We do not claim that every provider stores data only in one country or that provider-side retention is identical to our storage retention.
Retention and deletion
Input photos and generated opening images are scheduled for deletion 7 days after generation completes or fails. Unused uploads are cleaned after 24 hours. For tasks that remain unresolved, input media has a fallback retention limit of 7 days from task creation; reconciliation records may remain separately. Completed videos are retained for 30 days; the expiry date appears in My Videos. You can delete a completed or failed story and its media sooner. Transient combined safety-review records are cleaned after 24 hours; upload safety metadata follows the upload lifecycle. Account and notification-list records remain until a valid deletion or opt-out request; they have no automatic expiry. Task, credit and billing records are retained separately as needed for delivery, reconciliation, disputes and legal obligations. We do not publish or sell your photos.
Device storage
Photo drafts are stored on your device in IndexedDB with a 2-hour validity period. Expired drafts are removed when accessed; closing the browser does not guarantee immediate erasure of stored files. You can clear site data in your browser. Session storage holds the draft token, active-task reference and checkout recovery key to restore your workflow; it is not analytics. Your cookie choice is saved in localStorage.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary cookies maintain sign-in sessions and security. Optional Google Analytics cookies measure visits and usage, and the utm_source attribution cookie records the referring campaign/source for up to 30 days. Neither the GA script nor the UTM attribution cookie is loaded or written before you choose Accept. Reject keeps both disabled. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice; withdrawing clears our optional cookies and stops analytics by reloading the page. Previously collected data is not automatically erased by changing your cookie choice.
Your rights and requests
Contact the support address below to request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable, to withdraw consent, to leave the notification list, or to raise a privacy concern. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. We may verify account ownership before acting. We aim to complete valid deletion/export requests within 30 days unless legal retention applies. We will explain any required retention or restriction. We aim to respond to account, payment, refund and policy requests within 3 business days.
